The record is replete with the wonderful women of our Cushite linage, by many names, and profound talents . May i share now, my thirty plus years of admiration, vision of Dr. Anna Julia Haywood Cooper. Appreciation is given to Drs. Jewel R. Crawford Mazique, Doris Hull,Pauline Myers, Bettye Collier Thomas; and especially the women who silently represent our Mothers, my Mother, GrandMother,through families . Anna J. Cooper's birth Tuesday, August 10, 2010 will be her 152nd, and we who live the vision of communially building, our own vine and fig tree; yes, from the earth up .We , of the OUR OWN HISTORY CLUB are excited , as we will read from, her works at 801 Euclid St. N.W., and invite those, who read this missive to look into Cooper's bio, and do something now .
